The Saranac Lake Mites came home with the championship in the “red” division of the Malone Minor Hockey Association’s Jacob Dievendorf Tournament, held on Friday and Saturday at the Malone Civic Center. They finished the 12-team tournament with six wins and one loss, taking the title with a 4-0 victory over Tri-Town on Saturday. Ryan Bartholomew was named the tournament’s most valuable player.
