To the editor:

I am grateful to all the people who helped me bring Christmas gifts to the nursing homes, AMC hospital and St. Joe’s veterans. I couldn’t have given the hundreds of gifts I wrap every year if it weren’t for the generous people who put items in my basket or supported me in other ways.

Thanks to Donna and Ray Dora, who took me to Elderwood of Uhlein in Lake Placid and Malone. I also want to thank my cousin Patty Reandeau for coming to Saranac Lake and bringing Tupper Lake gifts. Thank you to David Jones of Lake Placid, who helped me bring gifts to the veterans and John Ellithorpe for taking gifts for me to St. Joseph’s in Saranac Lake. I also want to thank George Leedom for driving me to bring gifts to the VA hospital in Albany.

I want to thank the people who gave me money to buy gifts like men’s shirts at Tractor Supply and those who donated shirts as well. Lake Placid Thrive and Thrift in Lake Placid also donated nice blankets for the veterans’ hospital.

Thank you to all the people who have helped me bring joy to so many people over the holiday season. God bless you all.
