To the editor:

On behalf of the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism (ROOST), I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Holiday Village Stroll Committee and to the many businesses and organizations that participated in coordinating the 2025 Lake Placid Holiday Village Stroll.

Thanks to the thorough planning and countless volunteer hours, this year’s stroll was one of the most successful yet. We heard an abundance of positive feedback from both community members and visitors, who enjoyed the festive atmosphere, activities and the warm hospitality experienced throughout the village.

The Lake Placid Holiday Village Stroll showcased the spirit of collaboration that makes our community so special. The collective effort created an experience that not only celebrated the season but also strengthened our sense of place and community pride.

As a destination marketing and management organization, ROOST is grateful for the dedication and partnership demonstrated by the Holiday Village Stroll Committee and all who participated. Your commitment to excellence plays an important role in enhancing the visitor experience while creating an event that residents look forward to year after year.
