Williams has the best interest of the town at heart

To the editor:

We are in complete support of the re-election of Johnny Williams for Harrietstown councilman. We voted for Johnny four years ago and will be happy to do so again. He is a tireless worker for the people of the town, not some people, but everybody. As a registered independent, he does not see red or blue but only the right path forward. Those who want to inject parties into local politics have an agenda that most often circles back to their own wants and desires, not Johnny.

Johnny spends countless time and effort each year to orchestrate the wildly successful Turkey Trot event, raising over $500,000 over the last 10-year period. It’s an impressive feat when you consider the pandemic surfaced smack in the middle of that period. He has contributed much to the council over the last four years, serving on the airport committee and maintaining an independent voice on the council. Hard work and determination are part of his DNA, baked into who he is as a person.

Johnny makes the time to serve, he could easily ignore the call and spend more time with his beautiful young family but he wants to ensure the town is well managed and remains a great place to raise that family. Please join us in voting for Johnny Williams on Election Day, it’s an easy choice for the good of Harrietstown and its residents.
