Support Williams for town councilman
To the editor:
I am writing in support of Johnny Williams for town councilman. I had the pleasure and honor of serving on the Harriestown board for a short time with Johnny. I can confidently say there is no one else who is more dedicated and devoted to this community than he is.
He doesn’t care what political side you are on; he makes decisions based on what is best for his hometown, our hometown. Johnny is not afraid of hard work — it’s all he’s ever known. He runs a successful business in this town and provides jobs to our local youth.
Johnny is more than an employer; he’s a mentor. He leads with his heart and strives to provide guidance and professional development to the people he employs. With the help of the Bitters & Bones crew and our community, he has raised over $500,000 in the last 10 years in the annual Turkey Trot for the Saranac Lake Interfaith Food Pantry and the Saranac Lake Student Needs Fund.
Johnny has done so much in his first term to benefit and make our community stronger. I’ve always been inspired by the way he selflessly puts the needs of others and his community before himself. Our community deserves to keep him on the board for another four years so he can continue to make our small town a better place to live.
I voted for Johnny in 2021, and I’ll vote for him again in November, regardless of what line he occupies on the ballot.
