To the editor:

I don’t live in Harrietstown, but I do live in Saranac Lake. The lines that separate the village, whether town or county, do not separate the community.

Johnny Williams represents the community in so many ways. He is a proud father and husband. He is a successful businessman providing jobs and also mentoring youth as they learn work skills in a team environment. He is a longtime member of the North Country Workforce Development Board, focusing on getting youth trained and employed in the region.

Along with a great team, Johnny is instrumental in organizing the annual Turkey Trot event that has raised more than $500,000 over the last 10 years. These funds go to the Saranac Lake Interfaith Food Pantry and the Saranac Lake Student Needs Fund.

Johnny has served as a Harrietstown Councilman from 2021 to 2025 and is seeking re-election for another four-year term. He has been on the airport committee for four years and is ready to see an $8.5 million revitalization through to completion. He is motivated and dedicated and not afraid of hard work and sacrifice.

I encourage the voters of Harrietstown to vote for Johnny Williams for another term.

He is working for us all.
