To the editor:

I’m writing to express my strong support for Doug Haney in his bid for Harrietstown Town Council. Doug is deeply committed to this community — not just in words, but through his actions. His business has been a steady force for good, raising funds for local nonprofit organizations that make a real difference across the Adirondacks.

Doug’s work also contributes directly to the local economy. He employs people from right here in our community and helps bring visitors from near and far to experience all that Harrietstown and the surrounding area have to offer. That kind of energy and commitment strengthens both our economy and our sense of place.

Doug isn’t just a business owner — he’s a neighbor. He is raising his family here and is personally invested in the future of this town. I’ve known him for over a decade, and I can’t think of anyone better suited to bring that same dedication, thoughtfulness and community spirit to the town council.

I hope you’ll join me in voting for Doug Haney for Harrietstown Town Council.
