To the editor:

Having the new Wilson Raymond Field with artificial turf is a very good thing to have; it’s finally nice to watch night games in Saranac Lake. I wish this were available when my brothers and I went to school. Hopefully, this will continue to make a huge difference for watching football, soccer, lacrosse and flag football by drawing in more fans. I think it’s a very important thing to have fans to cheer on local teams, especially with the student enrollment being down, and hopefully sometime in the near future, the Champlain Valley Athletic Conference will select the new Wilson Raymond Field to host the Section VII championships for varsity football and boys and girls varsity soccer because it would be very exciting to watch the Section VII football and soccer championships in Saranac Lake at the new Wilson Raymond Field.
