To the editor:

After two years of fundraising, the Tupper Lake Community Food Pantry is pleased to announce that our new generator is now installed and online. Not only will this protect the food we keep on hand for our regular operations, but we can now be prepared for any emergencies or disasters in our town.

We would like to thank all those that helped make this possible: the Town of Tupper Lake, Stoll Mechanical, MX Fuels, the Adirondack Foundation, the Aseel Foundation, the Knights of Columbus, Tupper Lake Rotary, American Legion, Amvets, Infant Jesus of Prague Inc., Woodmen Life, Tupper Lake VFW, many individual donors, and St. Alphonsus-Holy Name of Jesus Parish and the Diocese of Ogdensburg. We thank you all, and stand ready to serve our community.
