Women’s College Scholarship Club honors 2025 scholarship awardees

To the editor:

For the past 86 years, the local Women’s College Scholarship Club has been raising money to “award scholarships that empower local students, both male and female, to achieve their educational goals.”

In June of 2025 the club awarded 10, $3,000 scholarships to a group of graduating Saranac Lake High School students who will be pursuing post-secondary college or technical education, as well as continuing education scholars who are seeking to upgrade their skills through traditional college, technical certification or other career enhancing educational programs.

The Women’s College Scholarship Club is grateful to everyone who contributed to our fundraising campaign, keeping the dream alive, and promoting education in our community.

For more information about the WCSC, please check out our website at www.slwcscholarshipclub.com, or contact us directly at womenscsc@gmail.com. We invite you to consider joining the WCSC to be a part of a dynamic group of women with a common passion for local education.

Fundraising for 2026 scholarships is ongoing and donations can be made directly through the website, through our annual campaign or by partaking in one of our many local bake sales and raffles throughout the year.

The Women’s College Scholarship Club is honored to present the 10 June, 2025 scholarship recipients who will be continuing their education goals in an array of exciting fields of study. Congratulations to this wonderful group of local students!
