To the editor:

On behalf of the Friends of the Boothe River Park, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the community for helping make the recent River Reels Film Fest and Boothe Bitty Boat Race such memorable and successful events.

From beginning to end, both events were a delight — filled with energy, laughter and strong community spirit. We are especially grateful to Adam Harris of Grizle T’s for so graciously hosting the film screenings, and to RiverTrail Beerworks for welcoming us to their beautiful space for the boat race. Their partnership was instrumental in creating such a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere.

A special note of thanks to the Adirondack Carousel for lending us the charming duck participants — they were an absolute hit! And to NRS for their generous donation of prizes and raffle items, which brought an extra spark of excitement to the day.

Most of all, thank you to every member of the community who came out to participate, cheer and celebrate with us. Your enthusiasm and support mean the world to us, and they reaffirm our shared vision for what a revitalized and dynamic riverfront can bring to Saranac Lake.
