Green Side of the Big Apple has set the dates for its summer events and an invitation is extended to all interested in volunteering or learning more about the Willard Hanmer Guideboat, Canoe and Kayak Race. The committee meeting on June 18 at 5 p.m. will be held at 42 Tadds Way.

Green Side’s Guideboat Show in the Hotel Saranac — June 29 to July 7 — will be accompanied by its art show, in coordination with Saranac Lake ArtWorks, the Hanmer race — July 6 — and the Guideboat Academy — Aug. 23-24 — along with the village’s Fourth of July fireworks and the Runabout Rendezvous — July 5 — guarantees a spectacular July welcome to summer 2025.
