On the intersection at Brandy Brook
To the editor:
I do not agree with the recent opinion that the Brandy Brook stop sign should be removed. Originally the intersection was more logically arranged. It’s a T-intersection and Brandy Brook had a stop sign, while McKenzie Pond Road and Pine Street did not. Even though they’re two streets, they looked and operated as one. I believe the signage at this intersection should return to the more logical arrangement — one stop sign at Brandy Brook, remove the other two stop signs, and remove the yellow lines marking the path from McKenzie Pond Road onto Brandy Brook.
And on that note of logical intersections, please have the state do something about the intersection in front of NBT Bank. It’s very confusing to tourists and locals alike. A rotary would be much easier to navigate.
Thank you for letting me vent.
