The Saranac Lake junior class After Prom Committee just hosted the after-prom party with great attendance and enormous success. It was clear from the start that this was going to be a heavy lift and we are so grateful to the community businesses, civic organizations and members who so generously donated.

We were entertained until 3 a.m. by jousting competitions, bull riding, tether pulling, dancing and music, ping pong challenges, many games for chances in the cash cube and finally an amazing spectacle of hypnotism. The kids ate chicken wings, pizza, chips, ice cream, fruit and cheese, brownies and plenty of drinks.

Every attendee left with a prize or gift card as well as a uniquely designed T-shirt by one of their classmates. More than a dozen students had left with significant prizes and money. Their smiles and engagement were what got the chaperones through the finish line at 3:30 am.
