To the editor:

We have lived in Saranac Lake for most of our lives and have not felt compelled enough before this to write a letter in support of a village trustee candidate. Sean Ryan has changed that and we would like to put our full backing behind him.

We have known Sean for many years and we think that it’s time for his generation to have a voice in our village’s future. Sean is an excellent voice for the younger families of Saranac Lake. Sean is thoughtful, listens and understands what young families need. He will keep our village a place where people want to raise those families.

His experience on the rescue squad and in the schools gives him an overall view of what is needed in our community. We think it is time for this new generation to have a voice in our politics and we strongly support his candidacy. We urge you to support him for village trustee.
