To the editor:

Reliving the past Carnivals, but today live and in motion. Yet again today it will again come to a melancholic end as the tradition of Carnival is to unite the community, to celebrate with family, reminisce with old friends and certainly make a few more. There is a wonderful roar of live bands throughout downtown, crackling fire pits and food and drink galore … smiles, hugs and handshakes, all in the mad swirl of vibrations running high. And though this means goodbye, so long and safe travels, know that until the next Carnival I’ll carry the spirit of everyone that brought out so much love and soul vibrations that makes Carnival the very best.
