We are writing to extend a heartfelt thank you to Rob Russell and each member of the Winter Carnival Committee for orchestrating a truly amazing Creepy Winter Carnival. The Royal Family had an unforgettable experience thanks to your dedication and planning. The blood, sweat and tears that you and the many, many volunteers put into the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival are appreciated beyond words. Special shout out to Carnival Photographer Meachelle Manchester — she was everywhere capturing all the smiles of Carnival. The slideshow Meachelle created is one of the best we have ever seen. The Carnival Court was a great group of kids and we truly enjoyed sharing our Carnival experience with them.

Creepy Carnival was an impressive showcase of community spirit. From the Ice Palace that was miraculously created even though Mother Nature was not on board, to the Gala Parade — which brought our village to life with excitement and smiles! — and all the events in between, your attention to detail and making sure there are events that fit every age and interest goes above and beyond.

Your dedication to fostering community spirit and keeping the tradition of the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival has left the Royal Family with happy hearts, new friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
