Winter Carnival Court raised $2K thanks to local donors

To the editor:

On Nov. 22, 2023, the Winter Carnival Court held its annual Thanksgiving pie sale. Profits from this sale are used to purchase the outfits and other necessities for the court. We are pleased to report that this year’s pie sale was a resounding success rising over $2,000! We certainly couldn’t have done it without the support of our generous community.

We would like to express our deep and heartfelt thanks to Rice Furniture, Hyde Mobil on Broadway, Hyde Mobil on Lake Flower and our community who always seems to find it in their hearts to come out and support us. We are thankful we live in such a caring community and are honored to call Saranac Lake our hometown!

Once again, thank you to everyone who has been so generous in their support of us. We are honored to represent this community as part of the 2023 Winter Carnival Court. We look forward to seeing you at our “Spooky” Carnival events!

Sincerely,

Nash Carlisto and Nelle Aaron
