In protest of Gombas commentary
To the editor:
I must protest Rick Gombas’s homophobic letter to the editor (“The meek will inherit the Earth,” Sept. 13 edition of the Enterprise) concerning sexual abuse of children by Catholic priests. What does homosexuality have to do with it? Heterosexuals sexually abuse children, too.
I do agree, however, there is something very wrong with a religion that tries to enforce celibacy among its clerics.
