In this Thanksgiving season, Women’s College Scholarship Club has many causes to be thankful. Our gratitude extends to everyone who helped make our fundraiser at the annual NCCC Craft Fair so successful.  

Thank you to Jared Dumont and NCCC, Stewart’s Shop, the students of the SLHS Key Club, and Greta Hovland of Paul Smith’s College.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to each person who bought tickets for our raffle. The response to the holiday basket was overwhelming. We are indebted to the local merchants who generously donated gift certificates for our raffle: Ray Brook Brewhouse, Green Goddess Market and Cafe, Left Bank Cafe, Fiddlehead Bistro, BluSeed Studios, Little City Haircutters, Blue Line Brewery and Adirondack Wine and Liquor. Our holiday raffle basket, worth over $550, contains those gift certificates as well as items such as handknit sweaters, cozy slippers socks, books, holiday ornaments, and much more.

Raffle tickets will be available at Sparkle Village Dec. 2 and Dec. 3. The winning ticket will be drawn Dec. 3. All proceeds fund scholarships for local students.
