To the editor:

I am very glad to hear the village of Saranac Lake has a hometown veteran and business owner throwing his political hat into the ring. Jim (and the rest of his family) have been friends over many years. It is a good feeling to see that Jim has come back to Saranac Lake to contribute and give back to the community from which he grew up in. Jim has served his country honorably and I believe he will also serve this village honorably. His experience speaks for itself. I hope you all get to meet him and see that he is an honest and hard working individual. Please join me in supporting Jim for village mayor. Our village could use some new faces and some fresh air. Fair winds and following seas Jim!
