Over $2K raised at Winter Carnival pie sale

To the editor:

On Nov. 23, the Winter Carnival Court held its annual Thanksgiving pie sale. Profits from this sale are used to purchase the outfits and other necessities for the court. We are pleased to report that this year’s pie sale was a resounding success raising over $2,000! We certainly couldn’t have done it without the support of our generous community.

We would like to express our deep and heartfelt thanks to Rice Furniture, Hyde Mobil on Broadway, Hyde Mobil on Lake Flower and our community who always seems to find it in their hearts to come out and support us. We are thankful we live in such a caring community and are honored to call Saranac Lake our hometown!

Once again, thank you to everyone who has been so generous in their support of us. We are honored to represent this community as part of the 2021 Winter Carnival Court. We look forward to seeing you at the ’80s carnival events!

Sincerely,

Gabe Wilson and Alex LaDue, 2022 Winter Carnival Court spokespeople, and the rest of the 2022 Winter Carnival Court: Ben Clark and Alison Hewitt; Bailey Bartholomew and Lizzie Owens; Raymond Santiago and Juliana DeChavez; Ben Isabella and Lydia Wamsganz; Nate McCarthy and Mayah Land; Kenneth Lawless and Sydney Dann, advisor Katie Fischer
