Healthcare workers should be vaccinated
To the editor:
What is this so-called medical freedom? I just don’t understand it. When I was able to get the COVID vaccine, I was thrilled! To not have to get an illness that could result in death was such a relief! My sister got polio and almost died before the polio vaccine was available.
Why in the world would people want to expose their families, including children, to COVID? I also don’t understand why medical personnel would be against the vaccine. They should know better. I certainly wouldn’t want to be a patient in a hospital and be treated by a person who wasn’t vaccinated. Thank you, Adirondack Health, for requiring your personnel to be vaccinated.
