Doublespeak
To the editor:
Wow — Rep. Elise Stefanik said she signed on to overturn a free and fair election because she wanted to protect our democracy. Can’t get any more Orwellian than that.
To top that off, her senior advisor Alex DeGrasse is reported in the Jan. 7 Enterprise as tweeting that it was actually Antifa people disguised as Trump supporters who sacked the Capitol. Problem for Alex — one of the guys he said was Antifa was photographed in Charlottesville in 2017 standing by a Nazi flag.
And she still won’t say if she supports Trump or not?!
Elise, do the right thing and resign.
