To the editor:

Rep. Stefanik tells of her ordeal at the Capitol, prefacing it by saying she was about to speak in favor of objecting to certifying the election for president and vice president, when the violent mob incited by her mentor President Trump broke into the chamber. Doesn’t she see the irony, that her mentor’s falsely stating the election was rigged was the occasion for the rally resulting in this national disaster? She was in the course of perpetuating the lie when the mob (her fellow Trumpits) broke in, bringing the falsehood full circle.

Isn’t it about time that Stefanik acknowledges to us that her support of this lie and the liar-in-chief was almost her physical undoing on Wednesday?
