To the editor:

No matter who your candidates are, my two cents is that we need to sustain and build upon the positive progress we have been making as a community. Tom Catillaz is a roads and sewer guy. Whatever else is going on, we always need someone like him to help keep the village focused on keeping up with and replacing what we have. And on doing what has to be done while being mindful of the costs to our neighbors. Tom’s service as mayor and as trustee has consistently focused on paving roads, fixing sidewalks and replacing old water and sewer lines. He ain’t flashy, but he gets the job done — and much of what he has done for the village has made it as strong as it is today, even if you can’t see it because it is underground.
