No place for complacency
To the editor:
I have heard many people saying, “All lives matter.” While this is true, they are missing the point.
That is not what this protest is about. When is the last time we saw images of cops kneeling on a white man’s neck, or shooting an unarmed white person?
This protest is about systemic racism.
Complacency and ignorance are poor excuses for turning a blind eye to what is happening in this country.
