Open letter to mayors and town supervisors:

I finally realized today that it up to each of you to set rules for face masks in your own jurisdictions. Therefore, I beg all of you to make them mandatory in indoor spaces.

I have stopped giving my business to any store that has employees who are unmasked and customers who don’t care about the health of the general population. Only yesterday I was in a business with unmasked employees and customers. Two of 10 people in a cramped space were wearing masks.

I also request that you mandate masks for all delivery people. I ordered a pizza last night, and the delivery man came right to my door with no face covering. Many of us who are ordering in are doing it to support local businesses and to minimize our contact with others.
