To the editor:

Greetings, neighbors. I am running as a 2020 convention delegate for Bernie Sanders. I support Bernie because I believe that he — and the movement he represents — is best equipped to deal with the immense social and ecological challenges facing our communities, our nation and our planet.

Bernie is a decent and humane man who has been fighting for a better world longer than I’ve been alive, and he is now leading a growing movement of diverse people of all ages who demand a government that works for them and not just for the few.

If you would like to see Bernie on the New York state primary ballot here in our congressional district, please join us each Saturday in January from noon to 3 p.m. at the Trestle Street community room at 91 Woodruff St. in Saranac Lake. Meet your neighbors, sign some petitions, have some snacks, hear some music, and let’s join together to make the world a better place.
