Ellis will ‘do things right and do the right things’
To the editor:
I want to add my name to those supporting Lindy Ellis for her re-election bid as legislator in Franklin County.
According to Peter Drucker, “Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things.” A legislator needs to be able and willing to do both.
In her role as legislator for the towns of Franklin and Harrietstown, Lindy has proven that she can “do things right.” Through teamwork with the highway superintendent, Lindy helped to identify and improve our roads, including scheduled work for Bloomingdale Road and Old Lake Colby, and paving county Route 60. Lindy has also worked for eight years with Franklin County Traffic Safety Board.
Lindy’s civic leadership has a clear history of “doing the right things.” With a hard-working team of parents, skateboarders and local businesses, Lindy helped to build the skatepark for the benefit of our young people. When people need help, Lindy is available and responsive, be the issues at the county, state or federal level.
Vote for Lindy Ellis for Franklin County legislator, she will “do things right and do the right things.”
