To the editor:

Open letter to the staff of Mercy Living Center, Tupper Lake:

Usually when letters like this are published, they are to complain about something; however, this letter is to commend the staff of Mercy Living Center for the care that they provided to our mother, Gertrude Lintner.

Throughout the past year when she was a resident of your facility, we feel that she was provided excellent care by the nurses, aides and all other employees that she came in contact with. You went above and beyond to make her as comfortable and happy as she could be, especially during the last couple weeks of her life, which were very difficult for her.

Whenever she spoke about the staff, she always referred to you as her friends.
