Support Tedra Cobb for Congress

To the editor:

I’ve known Tedra Cobb for 18 years, when we met in Canton at the initial 21st Century Project session hosted by the Northern New York Community Foundation. During that day, I was awed and impressed by this North Country native’s knowledge of our region: its strengths, human needs and economic opportunities. Tedra, so intelligent and articulate as she spoke of our assets and needs, quickly caught the attention of the businessmen, educators, planners, health care providers, clergy and human resource advocates. You see, we had met that day to try to improve the lives of all of our rural and small-town residents!

Years later, because of her many attributes, particularly her seriousness and caring, Tedra was elected to represent her St. Lawrence County neighbors on their legislative board.

While serving on various boards, like the Children’s Clinic, Tedra identified gaps in health care services and needs for stronger management skills in the community. So aspiring, Tedra then started a health care agency and developed a successful management consulting business.

Unlike Ms. Stefanik, Tedra will vote for the right to quality, affordable health care, not JUST health care for the privileged . She will vote for a “hand up,” not a “handout,” when folks have fallen on hard times. Tedra will vote for well-paying jobs for everyone, not just a fortunate few. She will promote strong, healthy families to ensure that communities thrive. Tedra will vote for a strong military, including active duty, retired military and their families, whom she respects and supports.

Unlike Elise Stefanik, Ms. Cobb listens to all of us, not just a hand-picked, small group. Tedra is honest! She’ll address our concerns truthfully. She’ll represent us well in Congress.

PLEASE SUPPORT Tedra Cobb! Please donate! Please VOTE for Tedra on June 26!
