To the editor:

Small businesses are a huge part of the upstate economy; families depend on these businesses for their everyday lives. Thankfully, no one understands this better than Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, who grew up with her family relying on their own small business. She knows the hard work and dedication that goes into them and wants to do all possible to make sure they always have the chance to prosper. I believe Stefanik has fought and will continue to fight for the needs of these companies that make up a significant part of the 21st District. Someone such as Elise is whom I want in Congress for my hometown, someone who truly knows what it means to be dependent on such a business and knows what big roles they play, not only in people’s lives but America’s.
