Poem: ‘The Sun Shone Through the Glade’
To the editor:
It was the part of the day when the sun shone more sideways through the glade where leaves take on an almost flourescent shade of green after a rain in the early tender days of spring. I looked to see a more worthy recipient of such beauty and grew more grateful as the cares of the day now took their leave as to say for some other day battles to be fought won or lost.
