End the Trump presidency

To the editor:

It is time for the nation and the world to be rid of the Trump presidency.

One year of Donald Ttrump’s thin-skinned egotism, policy-making by tweet, arrogant undercutting of friends and allies, and taunting of adversaries — especially unstable nuclear-armed North Korea — is too much. All this would be a bad joke if it were not unbelievably dangerous.

This is not about politics. (I find his successor’s Mike Pence’s political ideology perhaps worse than Trump’s.) This is about safety and stability.

Two weeks ago, Trump called himself ” a very stable genius.” He has proven himself the opposite.

Constitution Article 25 and/or impeachment proceedings should begin immediately, based upon Trump’s unfitness for leadership. It is likely that this process will cause him to be even more erratic and unpredictably dangerous, but we need to do what is necessary to retore stability and safety to the country and to the world stage.
