To the editor:

First, a big thank-you to the police, fire and rescue folks who keep us safe.

Second, ditto to the village Department of Public Works and board for keeping our streets, sidewalks and pipes in good repair.

Third, here’s what I learned at the New York State Bar meeting in New York City:

1. If a lender is foreclosing on your house, don’t move out ’til same tells you to leave.

2. Only the FAA regulates recreational and commercial drones.

3. Don’t use your employer’s vehicles, credit cards or equipment for your own use — ’tis a crime!
