Garcia knows North Country people

To the editor:

Julie Garcia for state Supreme Court justice in the Fourth Judicial District – I vote yes! This lady is self-made and inextricably tied to grassroots efforts to help children and students of all ages. She has supported day cares, pre-schools, public schools, BOCES programs, CV-TEC programs, hospitals and nursing homes. Regardless of what unpromising circumstances are in hew way or in the way of a project she believes in, she is resourceful in finding a way to help a goal become a reality.

She was not born into wealth or privilege, and overcame all of those obstacles to not only become a great success in all that she works for but also all those requiring assistance of her knowledge. Through her education at Albany Law, hard work, compassion and willpower, Julie Garcia has come to the opportunity to make a bigger difference in the causes she believes in and in the people whom she fights for, by running for state Supreme Court justice.

She has many years experience in law, including being the district attorney for Essex County and civil cases. She is self-directed, self-initiated and used to a fast-paced environment and multi-tasking. Julie has an ability to effectively relate to people and to professionally present and solicit services for those in need. She possesses the ability to take initiative and act effectively both individually and as a member of a team. Julie has strong listening, oral and written communications skills, so your concerns will be heard.

This judicial position covers 11 counties, from Schenectady County to the Canadian border. Let us vote for someone who will represent northern New York because she understands the needs of the people who live here.
