Image of the Week

This recently donated postcard shows the boat houses at the Saranac Club. The Saranac Club was made up a group of New York City patrons of Bartlett’s on the carry between Middle and Upper Saranac Lake. After Virgil Bartlett died in 1889, the property ownership transferred to a group of men who organized the club. The club rules included guide or light boat rentals for just 25 cents! (Historic Saranac Lake Collection, 2024.1.198. Gift of Ann Pecora Diamond.)

Starting at $4.75/week.
