August is National Dog Month, and we can’t pass up an opportunity to share a historic dog photo! This good dog is with members of the Carrier/Smith family at an unidentified tent camp site sometime around 1905. Blanche Smith is seated front left, and Jack and Mary Ellen Carrier are seated behind her with the dog in between them. Hooray for dogs throughout history!
