5W Wednesdays

Historic Saranac Lake needs your help identifying the who, what, where, when, and/or why of this photo. In honor of Civilian Conservation Corps Day on April 5, this is a special guest post from our colleagues at the Paul Smith’s College Archives. This photograph from their collection likely shows members of the CCC, but they don’t know any more about it. There was a CCC Camp at Paul Smith’s in the 1930s, and members of the Corps worked to build dams, log trees, and cut new roads and trails. Do you know anything about this photograph, or the CCC Camp at Paul Smith’s? Let us know by calling the museum at 518-891-4606 or emailing mail@historicsaranaclake.org.
