The full moon at the beginning of the week reminded us of all the wonderful early-1900s nighttime postcards in the Historic Saranac Lake collection! This one shows the moon shining bright over the Hotel Algonquin and Lower Saranac Lake. Today this is the site of Trudeau Institute. This postcard was mailed by a tuberculosis patient who said he slept in a tent — “healthy!”
