We’re still thinking about Winter Carnival, but with a Valentine’s Day twist! This hand-colored photograph shows J. Phelps Harding and Francis L. Minshull dressed as the King and Queen of Hearts at the 1909 Winter Carnival. These outfits would turn out to be prophetic — Phelps and Francis were married on June 16, 1925! Happy Valentine’s Day!
