We are having some work done at the Saranac Laboratory Museum this week, so we have construction on the brain! This photograph shows workers assembling the frame of the new Harrietstown Town Hall in 1928. This “fireproof” structure was designed by Scopes & Feustmann following the fire that destroyed the original Town Hall. Stay tuned for updates on the construction project here at the museum!
