Favor Ray Smith, of Pawleys Island, South Carolina and Lake Placid, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025.
Favor was born in Lake Placid on April 6, 1939, graduated from Lake Placid High School in 1957 and served in the United States Army from 1961 to 1963 as a tank commander.
