Gregory A. Phillips

Born in Saranac Lake on Nov. 10, 1952, he was the son of George A. and Shirley O. (Lancto) Phillips.

Greg grew up in Lake Placid, where he attended and graduated from Lake Placid High School in 1970. He is a veteran of the United States Army serving for a brief period of time until he was honorably discharged for medical reasons. Greg returned to Saranac Lake where he worked for American Management Association and then later for North Star Industries as a direct support professional for over 20 years. Greg was a passionate volunteer for the Alpo Sled Dog Races for many years and an avid fisherman. He was a humble and kind soul who loved spending time with his friends.

Greg is survived by his many cousins and close friends.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. At Greg’s request, there will be no calling hours or funeral services.
