Joan K. Reyell

Joan graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1974. She received a bachelor’s degree in speech language pathology at Nazareth College of Rochester and a master’s degree in speech language pathology at Northeastern University in Boston. She cherished her work helping her clients and families over the many years of her private practice.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Rob Reyell; daughter Kassandra Massed (Kevin) of Middletown, Rhode Island; and nieces and nephews.

Joan was predeceased by her parents; sister Jane Woods; brother Daniel Kaestle; and her daughter, Kaitlynn Reyell.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no calling hours and services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In Joan’s memory and her love of children, financial donations can be made to the Saint Agnes Preschool Program in Lake Placid or St. Bernard’s School in Saranac Lake.
