Aelia C. Lincoln
Aelia Cynthia Lincoln, 66, passed away at Adirondack Medical Center on Oct. 4, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on Sept. 3, 1958, in Endicott, New York, she was the daughter of Stanley and Virginia Hinckley Lincoln.
Aelia had a life-long love of all things British. She fell in love with Keith Bailey, a British citizen, and they married in 1993. Keith was her partner and best friend until his passing in 2021. She lived in England for over 30 years.
Roman history was one of Aelia’s many passions and she was a long-time member of the Roman reenactment troupe Vicus. She loved to travel and visited many Roman sites in Europe. She also loved music, especially symphonic heavy metal. She performed at Wembley Arena as a contestant on the British TV talent show “The X Factor.”
Aelia moved back to the U.S. in 2023 to be closer to family in Saranac Lake and resided at Saranac Village at Will Rogers. She was a member of the Adirondack Singers choral group. She is survived by her brother Chris Lincoln and sister-in-law Tammara Van Ryn of Saranac Lake. The family will hold a private service at a later date.
