Joan Pearl ‘Joanne’ Preston

Joanne was predeceased by her husband, Paul, and her son, David. She is survived by her six children; Shane (Sandy), Scott, Dan, Kevin (Lucy), Paula (Karen), Jennifer and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Joanne served her community through various volunteer organizations and in her work and passion as a registered nurse. She loved her family and friends, her faith, country music and baking. She was generous with her love and support and had a greeting card at the ready, for any and every occasion! We will all miss receiving those cards, the blue of her eyes and the ease of her laughter … there was always room for one more at the dinner table on Mill Hill … and if you would, please wear something blue.

A graveside service will be announced for her friends and family at a future date. The M. B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements.
