Mabel Foote

Mabel was born in Brooklyn and grew up on Long Island, but it was on a trip to the Adirondacks that she met Edward H. Foote, whom she married in 1951. They raised their four children in Parsippany, New Jersey, before returning to the Adirondacks to live full time.

Her late husband was a trustee of Adirondack Medical Center, where Mabel volunteered in the gift shop for many years. She is survived by her four children, Donald, Edward, Kathleen and Bruce, and three grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake or SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.
