Eric S. Thompson
Eric Stanley Thompson, 40, of Lake Clear, passed away unexpectedly of heart failure on Nov. 27, 2023.
He was born Aug. 3, 1983, in Potsdam to Rick and Janet Favro Thompson and graduated from Saranac Lake Central School.
Eric enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling and boating. He was a self-employed mechanic and caretaker. In winter, he also plowed snow. It goes without saying, his favorite place on Earth was at the family camp on Upper Saranac Lake.
He was predeceased by his father, Rick Edward Thompson, in 2015.
Survivors include his wife, Ashley, of Saranac Lake; sister, Kira Thompson; mother, Janet Simonson, of Asheville, North Carolina; and sons, Cody Montagnola of Wilmington and Brayden Thompson of Tupper Lake.
Arrangements are in care of the Fortune Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. There will be no services at this time.
